Great entertainment for adults and children alike. Pitched at just the right level for kids, with an excellent mix of humour and science facts. Doctor Austin and Doug Safety are a great double act! Not forgetting Professor Sparks, of course, the secret star of the show. Great value for money. I would certainly recommend this show to others.
What a fantastic show! A great introduction to live theatre for children which I would strongly recommend. The venue was ideal, just the right size, small and cosy. The actors were brilliant and the show had plenty to keep the children captivated and entertained. Excellent 'catchy' songs which stay in your memory long after the last curtain call! Fantastic!
30/08/09 This show should inspire the next generation of comic talent from it's audience of children, as I'm sure they all know inside that they could not be worse than this. The compere battled bravely through personal illness to give the audience some laughs, but the acts he presented were very, very poor. They seemed to be either very underprepared or perhaps indifferent to the needs of the audience. One even mentioned how tired they were after such a long time at the fringe. At £8.00 a ticket whether adults or children, we all deserved better. The children deserved better at any price. If the show returns next year, perhaps they should consider a collection from the audience as they leave. Our children had more fun watching the hard-working acts performing for free on the Royal Mile, and were very happy to put money in the hat in appreciation.
