‘Roger and Val' has been billed as the best British Sitcom since 'The Office'. Strangely, or perhaps not so strangely, death features strongly in the sitcom. This extraordinary session will explore the issues around death and dying with the writer of the Sitcom and with Arthur Smith, one of Britain’s premier comedians. They will be joined by John Lanchester the author of 'Capital' and chaired by Richard Smith, an international leader in health, an advocate for a better understanding of death and dying and the previous editor of the British Medical Journal.

In partnership with the University of Edinburgh Global Health Academy.

Disabled access info

Wheelchair access down ramp from Princes Street to terrace shops and craft fair. Upper terrace, church and hall are accessible via gate on Princes Street. Induction loop is available in the church auditorium.
