I completely disagree with the other reviewer. I didn't know what to expect but came with my family (two adults, a 17 year old and a 10 year old) and all of us had a thoroughly fantastic time. Brilliant use of the stage, props, body shapes, blocking, accents, multi-faceted performances from everyone. The commitment and range of skills on offer from the performers, director and choreographer (I assume there was one!) was exceptional.

If you are a fan of well structured, gentle comedy then this is the play to see. A quirky take on historical fact the 3 playlets take you from plague to blitz via Madame le Guillotine. The 3 player ensemble obviously enjoy what they are performing and give a fine polished performance. Many festival goers must be of the same opinion as on the day we attended there was another packed house. Go and see it but remember...cake eaten outside of home doesn't count towards your daily calorie intake!!

Is this so bad it's good? Or is it just plain bad? I fear I have to opt for the latter assessment- this to me was no more than very tired physical comedy delivered in a post-modern wrapping. In fairness, quite a few audience members evidently disagreed. Just don't go expecting any celestial flights of wit or a dazzling exhibition of inventiveness.

A wonderful show presenting different styles of Indian dance. I have never seen anything like at the Fringe and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys dance and music. The film was also beautifully made and goes well with the dancers' performances.
