If I could rate this as a zero I would. Not only did I feel as though my money had been stolen but I actually was embarrased to be seen watching this show. What had been advertised as a dark re-working with literature to match (an old back and white photograph of alice) was not anywhere near this! We entered to find fluffy 'hare' ears and squeeky kids tv voices! (this was NOT advertised as childrens theatre) Also, the script was dire and had Alice crying and squawking the whole time - anyone familiar with Through the Looking Glass etc knows that our lead character does not act in that was and if anything condems it. Awful - I wish I could claim my £19 and 50 minutes of my life back!

US comic who did not change his act for the UK therefore not only unfunny but also not easily understood. References to therapists, Ritalin and other very USA centric lifestyles don't work here. Really I consider this an insult to the audience or maybe arrogance. Which ever way you look at this act it is more a waste of your time than his. Up to an hour of your life you won't get back yet Jonathan seems to thrive on it. If I see a show I expect it to be more amusing than being at the office. This was not.

Deeply uncomfortable viewing at times, with a sense of intrusion into lives on a knife-edge, the often febrile desperation felt by the characters is tangible. Some clever touches - interaction with the audience in the debate on the intractable issues of morality and choice, some unexpected humour and even some forays into physical theatre - and agonising pathos in the scene where the letter to the clinic is composed. Competent and committed acting and production and a script which sometimes touches the soul; I was transfixed and genuinely moved by this play.

This guy must write his own reviews and the audience are too polite to tell him he should give up and get a different job. The stereotypical sexism of his "jokes" about domineering mothers, women who don't tell you what they want and immature men were not funny and cringeworthy at times. He started late which he thought was a cute character quirk and liked to use people's names, but often got them wrong. There were a few good 1 liners, but some of his friends should tell him it's OK not to be funny, as he isn't a natural comedian.
