Edinburgh International Film Festival

Edinburgh International Film Festival is a true home of innovative and exciting cinema. For more than half a century, the Festival has presented some of cinema's most important and exciting moments and played host to the world's greatest filmmakers.

This is a curated festival, presenting films and events selected by film experts, that it firmly believes are worth seeing. It exists to celebrate and develop the talent and knowledge of the worldwide film sector and of film craft.

Sir Sean Connery, Tilda Swinton and Robert Carlyle are Patrons of the The Edinburgh International Film Festival.
