Edinburgh Hogmanay & New Year Party

Edinburgh’s Hogmanay is the largest New Year event in the world and its celebrations are internationally renowned. The Festival is best known for it's unrivalled New Year's Eve street party which attracts up to 100,000 people every year. Throughout the Festival there's an entertaining and engaging programme of festive celebrations, with activities suitable for the whole family.

Be part of the incredible atmosphere of the Torchlight Procession as it lights a path through the city towards the midwinter fire festival on top of Calton Hill. Join in the new and funky Dancin' event held in the Grassmarket area on the 30th December, and then party yourself silly at Edinburgh’s world famous Hogmanay Street Party.
