Edinburgh International Science Festival

The Edinburgh International Science Festival is the world’s first, and Europe’s largest, public celebration of science and technology, where hundreds of scientists and technologists share their passion with the public.

The Science Festival explores the wonder of the universe and each year its diverse programme, of more than 140 events, delights and expands the minds of young and old during the Easter holidays.

Across all of Scotland, the Festival’s travelling schools programme, Generation Science, reaches more than 50,000 children and their teachers, ensuring that young people can experience first-hand, the wonders of science, and learn that science can be fun.
